A fresh look for berrydale’s sea buckthorn
When a product carries the power of a superfruit like sea buckthorn, its packaging needs to do more than just contain it — it needs to reflect its energy and premium value. For Berrydale Foods, the objective was to create a label design that would match the strength and vibrancy of the product while fitting seamlessly into modern retail spaces.
Sea buckthorn is widely known for its rich nutritional profile — packed with Omega 3, 6, 7 & 9, Vitamin C, and antioxidants. With such a powerful ingredient at its core, the packaging needed to communicate both health credibility and premium appeal at first glance.
Our approach was to design a label that felt urban, contemporary, and confident, while still staying true to the brand’s established colour language. The bold colour palette, combined with strong typography, ensures that the product instantly commands attention. The clean layout allows the key benefits of the product to stand out clearly, helping consumers quickly understand what makes it special.
Special attention was given to how the label interacts with the bottle itself. The design contours complement the shape of the glass bottle, allowing the rich natural colour and texture of the pulp concentrate to remain visible and become part of the visual story. This interplay between product, packaging, and colour creates a natural authenticity that consumers can trust.
The result is a design that works hard on the shelf. Amidst rows of similar bottles, the label’s vibrant palette, bold product name, and minimal yet striking layout give it strong retail visibility and shelf presence. At the same time, subtle graphic elements referencing sea buckthorn berries reinforce the product’s natural origins.
The final packaging reflects exactly what the product promises — a premium, nutrient-rich superfruit concentrate sourced from the Himalayas, presented in a way that feels modern, distinctive, and unmistakably Berrydale.
